Dear Parishioners, The good news of Jesus Christ is that we will rise again, raised up by the power of His life, death, and resurrection. St. Paul reminded us that we should console ourselves with these words. We are reminded of the consolation received from belief in the immortality of the soul in the month of November when the liturgy of the Church focuses in a special way on our Faithful departed. Mass will be celebrated each day of the month for the deceased members of our Parish and of your families. Please list the names of the deceased you wish to be remembered at Mass on the envelopes you received at home or on one of the special envelopes you will find in the pews or in the vestibule. These lists of names of your loved ones will be placed near the tabernacle. We remember the promise of Jesus: "If we have died in Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him." Any donations made in memory of those who have died will be used to purchase a new processional cross and for other needed items for our Liturgical celebrations. Sincerely, |
