I
just
came
back
from
the
Pastor’s
Workshop
held
at St.
Matthew
Church
that
started
yesterday.
The
workshop
is
part
of the
Next
Generation
Parish
Program
offered
by the
Archdiocese
to the
parishes
that
were
awarded
a
scholarship
through
the
Catholic
Leadership
Institute
(CLI).
It is
designed
to
give
the
pastors
of St.
Matthew,
St.
Cecilia,
St.
Kevin,
St.
Anthony
(Novato),
Our
Lady
of
Angels,
and
St.
Robert
an
orientation
to the
program
and
all it
entails.
All
six
pastors
attended.
We are
so
blessed
and
privileged
to be
selected
as one
of the
few
parishes
that
will
be
guided
on how
we can
grow
together
as a
faith-filled
community
in our
journey
toward
Jesus.

Thank

for

Archdiocesan
Annual
Appeal.
I was
pleasantly
surprised
by our
online
donations,
which
skyrocketed
to
$31,098
in
such a
short
time
compared
to
last
year.
Our
total
pledge
at
this
time
is
$38,665.53.
That
is 37%
of our
goal
of
$103,208.
Yes,
we
have a
long
ways
to go,
but I
am
confident
that
our
parishioners
will
respond
generously.
We are
blessed
with

faithfulness
to the
Church
and
your
local

Thursday,
March
30, is
the
Chrism
Mass
at St.
Mary’s
Cathedral.
Chrism
Mass
is
when
the
bishop
blesses
the
oils
we use
for
our
Sacraments
of
Baptism,
Anointing
of the
Sick,
and
Confirmation.
It is
also
during
this
Mass
that
the
priests
in the
entire
Archdiocese
will
renew
our
priestly
vows.
You
are
invited
to
attend
this
Mass
and
support
our
priests.
